Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, will host a special online crypto event on April 7, intended to showcase the promise that Web3 and blockchain technology holds for the economic development of the world’s second-most populous country.
According to a report by a local news outlet Estadão, Coinbase is planning to acquire Brazilan crypto-focused company 2TM, the owner and operator of Latin America’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Mercado Bitcoin.

Hong Kong-based gaming and venture capital company Animoca Brands has announced it will no longer allow Russian citizens access to its services. One of the company’s co-founders, Yat Siu, told Bloomberg that the decision to leave the Russian market was made after receiving legal advice.
